Lori Otto, LDO, CPOA
Our Office Manager, Lori Otto, has been in the optical field for many years, starting with Premier Vision Group in June of 1997. She studied to obtain her Ohio Optical Dispensing Licensure in 2001 and obtained her Certified Paraoptometric Assistant Certification in 2007. She has been the office manager at the Lima location since 2010, but assists the other 2 locations as well. Striving for excellent patient care, Lori maintains her credentials with annual education and training. Her love for insurance billing and coding will make your visit here less stressful as most of the work is already done for you!
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their five boys. Last year, her family became co-owners of a local pizza place. When time allows, she volunteers to help with youth athletic events and enjoys sitting down to read a good book.
Mandy Miller, CPOA
Mandy has been with the practice since 2003 and brings with her forty years of experience. She has her Associates degree in Applied Sciences and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. She has served on paraoptometric committees at the state and national levels and has served on the Commission for Paraoptometric Certification for the American Optometric Association and was awarded Paraoptometric of the Year in 1999 for her years of dedication to the eye care profession. She enjoys every aspect of her career, especially frame selection. “Life is too short to wear boring glasses!” is her personal mantra.
At home, Mandy enjoys her very active family and her two grandchildren.
Barb Kienitz, CPOA
Barb has been working at Premier Vision Group since 2004. Achieving her certification as a Para Optometric Assistant in 2011, she continues to train and further her education. She enjoys all facets of her career and gains great satisfaction from teaching patients how to insert and remove their contact lenses. She also loves to help patients design the perfect pair of glasses. She currently resides in Shawnee with her husband, Dave, and their cat, Tigger. She enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, bicycling, playing with her grandkids and spending time with family and friends.
Carrie joined Premier Vision Group in 2012 and brings with her over 17 years of medical knowledge and experience. She enjoys all aspects of patient care and her previous training allows her to excel at preliminary and specialized testing, helping our doctors understand your vision needs better.
In her time away from the office, Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and keeping up with her four very active children.
Amber Belisle, CPO
Amber is one half of our front desk dynamic duo. She shares responsibilities with Susan; welcoming patients, checking for information accuracy and scheduling appointments, while being cross trained in every aspect of patient care to ensure a great eye care visit! She has been with our practice since 2010 bringing with her a background in customer service. Obtaining her certification to become a Certified Paraoptometric in 2011, she enjoys educating patients and interacting with them. Amber also has a great responsibility running our in-office laboratory that allows us to manufacture glasses for patients.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys participating in classic car shows with her husband and two daughters and baking new recipes to test out on her coworkers.
Susan Brinkman, CPOT
Susan joined the practice in the spring of 2008 and quickly became a Certified Paraoptometric by October of the same year. Susan is one half of our front desk dynamic duo. She shares responsibilities of check-in procedures with Amber while being cross trained in all aspects of the office. Her primary responsibility is scheduling patients and reviewing coding prior to insurance submission. She continued her education to become a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant in June of 2011. With a personal goal of finalizing the last level of education, she achieved her Certified Paraoptometric Technician certificate in September of 2016.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children, Zachary and Whitney.
Kayla started at Premier Vision Group in 2013 and brings a southern charm along with medical assistant training and knowledge. Kayla is part of our excellent preliminary and specialized testing team, allowing our doctors to understand your vision needs better. Kayla focuses on patient care while seamlessly continuing her training and education.
After hours, Kayla enjoys spending time with her three children.
Kirsten rejoined our practice in June of 2017. She spent a few years working for an optical dispensary in Georgia, taking time off to have her son and later studied to get her massage therapy licensure. Kirsten makes her impact in our optical dispensary and enjoys assisting patients with frame styling and selection. Educating patients on the different lens options, dispensing glasses and adjusting patient’s glasses are many of her specialties. She is looking forward to continuing her education in the optical industry.
Outside of work, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her son, Kellan.
