Dr. Needham is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and completed her dual Bachelor's degree in biology and psychology at Kent State University. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2002, where she earned her doctorate in optometry, was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honor society, and received her Interdisciplinary Specialization in Aging Certification. She is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and American Optometric Association, and served as the governor of the Toledo Area Optometric Society in 2009-2010. She received the Ohio Optometric Association's Young Optometrist of the Year award in 2012. She is a member of the Ohio Optometric Foundation Board of Directors, Ohio Public Health Association, and Women of Vision organization. Dr. Needham enjoys volunteering for the InfantSee program, Vision USA, the In-School Eye Exam program and is a presenter of the Realeyes program. Dr. Needham is married and enjoys watching Ohio State football in the fall and taking her dog, Dakota, for walks in the park.
